What is Split PDF?
Pull specific pages out of a larger PDF — a single invoice from a statement, a chapter from a book, or the signed page from a long contract. Enter the pages you want and download them as a fresh PDF.
How to use Split PDF
- Choose the PDF you want to split. The total page count appears once it loads.
- Enter the pages to extract. Use a dash for ranges and commas for separate pages, for example 1-3, 7, 10-12.
- Click “Extract pages” to download a new PDF containing only those pages.
Why use this tool?
Share only what is needed
Send the two relevant pages instead of a 90-page document — smaller, clearer and better for privacy.
Flexible page selection
Ranges and individual pages can be mixed freely in one go, so you rarely need more than a single pass.
Frequently asked questions
How do I write the page range?
Use a hyphen for a continuous range (1-5), commas to separate items (2,4,9), or combine both (1-3, 8, 12-14). Pages are extracted in the order the original document had them.
Can I split one PDF into many separate files?
This tool extracts one range at a time into one file. To create several files, run it once per range — or use PDF → Images if you want every page as a separate file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on Toolraq runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device — there is no upload endpoint at all. You can verify this yourself by opening your browser’s DevTools Network tab while you use the tool.
