No, and it is worth being clear about that: photos have thousands of subtle colour transitions, so tracing produces a huge, messy file that looks worse than the original. Use it for logos, icons and flat art.
Why does my SVG look slightly different?
Tracing approximates the image with shapes, so fine detail and anti-aliased edges get simplified. Raising the colour count and lowering smoothing brings it closer to the original.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
